Empathy: the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, is a beautiful and remarkable trait that allows us to connect deeply with those around us. However, for highly empathic individuals, this gift can sometimes feel like a double-edged sword. While being empathic offers insights and compassion, it also exposes us to the pain and suffering of others, which can be overwhelming and exhausting.
