I do not normally look at too many advertisements on Facebook, by for some reason I stopped when Deanna King popped up on my stream. Deanna came into my life serendipitously as a referral by a friend at the perfect time. I was feeling overwhelmed with my life and business during a hectic time of trying to conceive, trying to take care of my health, and trying to grow my business. We worked on what came up each day, and I'm grateful for Deanna's flexibility and openess to work with whatever was coming up. Deanna has a very relaxing and non-judgmental presence that was very reassuring and supportive. Just what I needed. She also guided me to try new things and I am leaving our sessions with powerful tools to support myself. One of my favorite exercises was to check in with my perception of a word, then reimagine it. We did this a few times, most notably with "Fertility" and "Motherhood". This visualization process was very eye opening to how I was holding this word, and this journey. With great intention and care through Deanna's guidance, I got to reimagine the word without anyone else's influence or outside stories. It was a beautiful process and I'm so grateful for how light, free, and reconnected I felt afterward. I became aware that the current examples and expectations I have of motherhood do not match how I want to create, and that realization alone helped me to recreate my relationship with the process. She also helped me work through a very upsetting client situation and offered me space to talk it out, then tools to ground, center, clear myself of other's energy and detach from their negative feelings. This felt both cleansing and protective in a really beautiful way. Through the process I also uncovered some unresolved hurt from several years in the past. I had a safe and guided opportunity to address some of those hurts and see how they were affecting me now.
